I graduated from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Since that time, I’ve worked as a photographer, art educator, and small-business owner specializing in custom photography-based projects. My work includes fine art photography, portraits, weddings, and events as well as digital and physical restoration and preservation work. I also do printing, framing, and craft hand-made albums. I enjoy hiking, exploring and generally spending time outdoors with my husband and family; naturally, these are prominent subjects in my photography.

I am passionate about old things and I especially enjoy looking at old photographs. This passion has resonated throughout my life and career, helping to shape and focus my work. For me, photography adds another dimension to how I experience life and I appreciate how it provides viewers a unique opportunity to look back in time.  As an artist, I hope that I can inspire other people to realize and cultivate their own creative talents, as I share mine.
